At the center of the story is a Serbian tycoon, the wealthy and influential "controversial businessman" Vladan Simonovic, who is hated in public for the wealth he acquired in a dubious way, during the 1990s.The attacker shoots him. More out of reflex than as a deliberate move, his son Bojan tries to protect his father and he takes a bullet instead. The assassin escapes - The shots make Vladan initiate a private investigation in order to discover who tried to kill them. This investigation will open up a "Pandora's box" with respect to Vladan's business and private past and will lead to growing conflicts linked with the future of his seemingly mighty company..
