Tehran today. In Persian, Shadi means "happiness", a name that is not always easy to carry, especially when you're 17 and find your mother suffocating and your father with absent subscribers. In search of independence and in conflict with his mother who only tells him about their next emigration to France, Shadi decides to run away and takes his best friend and two boys with her on a journey that is both chaotic and initiatory through the 'Iran.
