Indie Game First Look: Townsmen: We check out Townsmen, a city builder in the vein of classics like Caesar or Pharaoh, developed by Handy Games and released on Steam in December 2016.
The leveling system has to be one of the stand out points of this game since it make me feel like I did not have to start from square one over and over again when moving from one scenario to the next.

First Look videos are my First Impression series on newish indie games! I enjoy the variety of ideas, concepts and gameplay mechanics that indie developers come up with, and am always on the lookout for the latest and greatest. First Look videos typically involve video footage from the first 20-30 minutes of game with my thoughts on how it plays and the key idea or concept of the game.
Generally speaking, I try not to be overly negative (there's enough of that on the internet!) but if I do have minor gripes and criticisms, you will be sure to hear it! Also, I want this space to be one of positivity so no railing on low quality games since I don't see a point in showcase these games on my channel! Rather, I would say I make videos on games which I think are at least of "good" quality, so subscribe if you want quick peeks at interesting indie games! #indiegames #indiegames
