The election of Suzanne Fontana as president of one of the most influential and recognized NGOs in the world coincides with the kidnapping, in Yemen, of a young delegate and a dozen collaborators of the organization. In a world of false appearances, an idealistic woman will be forced to grapple with her own moral limits, forge unnatural alliances, and put aside her scruples to try to bring the hostages back home.
