Seçkin bir asker olan Ray Garrison, başarılı bir operasyondan sonra karısı ile çıktığı tatilde öldürülür. Cansız bedeni askeriye tarafından özel bir şirkete bağışlanan Garrison, ona insanüstü güç ve hızlı iyileşme yeteneği kazandıran ileri bir teknoloji ile hafızasını kaybetmiş olarak hayata döndürülür. Şirketten kendisine ve karısına ne olduğunu öğrenen Garrison, yeni yetenekleriyle karısını öldüren veya en azından karısını öldürdüğüne inandığı adamın peşine düşer. Ancak kısa süre sonra kendisine geçmişi hakkında anlatılanların gerçek olmadığını anlayacaktır.
