Indie Game First Look: Xenoraid | Modernising Space Invaders
Indie Game First Look: Xenoraid: We check out Xenoraid, an arcedy shoot-em-up, developed by 10tons Ltd and released on Steam in September 2016.
I felt that this game took elements from other games and incorporated them into a basic shoot-em-up, and the result is a game that plays pretty well!

First Look videos are part of my First Impression series on newish indie games! I enjoy the variety of ideas, concepts and gameplay mechanics that indie developers come up with, and am always on the lookout for the latest and greatest. First Look videos typically involve video footage from the first 20-30 minutes of game with my thoughts on how it plays and the key idea or concept of the game.
Generally speaking, I try not to be overly negative (there's enough of that on the internet!) but if I do have minor gripes and criticisms, you will be sure to hear it! Also, I want this space to be one of positivity so no railing on low quality games since I don't see a point in showcase these games on my channel! Rather, I would say I make videos on games which I think are at least of "good" quality, so subscribe if you want quick peeks at interesting indie games! #indiegames #indiegames
