Together with her team, Detective Lois deals with the most serious type of crime: murders, kidnappings and other extreme violence are her daily reality. However, Lois has been used to her fierce profession for years; she lives more or less for police work. After the early loss of both her parents, Lois' sole trusted person, her sister Tessa, who recently married the rich Guido and moved to Bergen.

However, if a secret from Lois' past suddenly comes to the surface, that quiet life will be turned upside down. Lois' very private life comes to the fore against the background of three heavy affairs.
