The gamblers

Three couples struggle with everyday life when a generous stranger approaches them with an unusual offer: €1 million and a year to be happier no matter how things go. The three addressed are the fun-loving small business owner Firat, the somewhat self-conscious actuary Jasper and the career-oriented lawyer Ines. All three don't hesitate and accept the tempting and unusual offer. However, the mysterious stranger has one condition: their respective partners and children must not know about the deal. Only if all three hold out to the end is the amount paid out. The three of them have to report to the generous initiator, Mr. Herzinger, week after week about their progress with luck. Not everything always goes as it should and leaves room for some funny, surprising, and sometimes catastrophic situations.
