Gerti Bruckner doesn't have it easy. Her marriage to her husband Bertl is getting bogged down in the same old routines and her colleague Heidi, who is half her age, has been given the upcoming promotion instead of her. All in all, not the best time to be investigating a murder case in her immediate neighbourhood together with her young superior, which not only brings old stories back to light - the investigation also leads her closer to her surroundings than she would like.
