LOGAN Trailer Breakdown - Easter Eggs & Song EXPLAINED (Final Hugh Jackman Wolverine)
The first trailer for Logan has been released, and Hugh Jackman’s final performance as Wolverine looks like a real tear-jerker. Inspired loosely by the X-Men comic series Old Man Logan, this film will show an older, beaten down Logan in a future where mutants are all nearly gone. Erik Voss explains the meaning of the trailer’s song, Johnny Cash’s haunting cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Hurt,” and why it’s the perfect song choice for the dark themes of Logan. He also digs deep into the visuals and easter eggs of the trailer, predicting how X-23 Laura Kinney and Charles Xavier connect to the story. Who are the Reavers? Will Sinister appear in this film?
