Captain America: Civil War and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice share a lot of similarities. Both pit iconic comic book characters against each other, both deal with issues regarding collateral damage and civilian casualties and both are enjoying healthy box office return. Arguably.
Despite this one of them is fairing significantly better than the other in terms of critical response and how audiences have reacted. But why is this the case? This video looks at the reasons why this may be the case. And probably other stuff who knows.
Beware of Captain America: Civil War spoilers and Batman V Superman spoilers also. I'm light on the Civil War details but it's best not to watch this video if you haven't seen it.
