Transcript:
In an alternate timeline centuries from now, artificial intelligence takes over. Even the heroic Earth Liberation Front quickly fell in their attempts to save Earth. While many brave soldiers passed, some- including the elite Raelynn and Ted McPain- were only temporarily lost, placed into stasis to be resurrected later. Sadly, humanity lost in the first A.I. War.
In the ruins of Earth, intergalactic business Zork Industries, led by the alien Blabl Zork, raided the planet for resources to be resold as spoils of war. Having no fondness for his heir and nephew, Derpl Zork, a dim-witted mercenary, Blabl sent him out to fight -- and likely die -- in the same battlefields he sells to.
It is now 3587 and the SECOND A.I. war rages on with robots fighting other robots under the banners of The Zeroes and The Ones. As these metallic mobs fight over key resources, both sides begin listing the help of The Awesomenauts, an ever-expanding group of wild mercenaries with very loose membership requirements. Humans, robots, weird fox alien things... all are set to battle over... random stuff. Have fun!
