Celebrity Game Night (UK)

British commercial television network Channel 5 has commissioned NBCUniversal International Studios-owned prodco Monkey to produce the game show format Celebrity Game Night for the UK.

The 6 x 60-minute localized adaptation will see six different celebrities join presenter Liza Tarbuck (Upstart Crow) and team captains Danny Baker (BBC Radio 5 Live) and Susan Calman (Strictly Come Dancing, The Boss) to battle in head-to-head party games with the help of a live band.

Monkey’s William Macdonald will executive produce the series, which was commissioned by Channel 5′s Sebastian Cardwell.

Celebrity Game Night is based on the Primetime Emmy-winning Hollywood Game Night (pictured) format from NBCUniversal.
