Battery

The story of a teenage pitcher and catcher who develop a firm friendship through their battery. Takumi Harada, an aloof junior high school boy who has a great arm, meets Gou Nagakura, who is the only person that can catch Takumi's fastball. Together, they build up a trusting relationship among their teammates. The drama is based on a popular novel written by Atsuko Asano. There is also a 2007 Japanese film, The Battery, based on the same novel.
