After some heart pounding action involving Daelin Proudmoore and the Kul'Tiras Navy, Rexxar escaped capture, and returned to the Darkspear village to deliver the new found news. Vol'jin went to warn Thrall of the invasion, and Rexxar set off to enlist the Tauren. When he found Cairne Bloodhoof, he was instructed to tell Thrall the old bull had died of a broken heart. Tagar, his second in command, informed Rexxar that this depression stemmed from the recent kidnapping of his son, Baine Bloodhoof, by the centaur. Rexxar and his companions killed some horsepeople and freed Baine. Upon return, Cairne was invigorated, and agreed to return personally with Rexxar to pledge his service to the Horde.
On their return to the Darkspear village, they were informed of a tired Ogre from Dustwallow Marsh. The ogre told them of a new tyrannical leader of the local Ogres in the marsh, the Stonemaul Clan. Rexxar saw this as a key opportunity to recruit the Stonemaul Ogres for the Horde's cause. After impressing the Ogres by running their gauntlet, he was accepted into the clan, and asked the Ogres for assistance. Their leader, Kor'gall mocked him, citing that the Ogre's were no longer friends with the Orcs. Rexxar fought Kor'gall for leadership of the clan. He defeated the Ogre, and assumed the position of Chieftain of the clan.
Rexxar lead the Ogre's back to Tidefury Cove, where the horde was assembling. Rexxar was named Champion of the Horde, and was given the honor of leading their forces against the Proudmoore's forces. After a difficult battle, they defeated the human forces and destroyed their stronghold. But Thrall knew Proudmoore would not stop there. The Horde kept on Proudmoore's tail right up to Theramore Island and kept Proudmoore's forces at bay. Rexxar and his friends wove through the battle, until they found Daelin. Rexxar and Daelin squared off, one on one, and Rexxar proved the victor. Jaina mourned her father's death, and the Horde pulled out from Theramore. Thrall invited Rexxar to return with him to Durotar, but Rexxar's place was still in the wilds. He named the Ogre Mok'Morokk as the leader of the Stonemaul Clan and disappeared into the wilderness once more.
After roaming Desolace and Feralas for many years, Rexxar returned home to the Blade's Edge Mountains in Outland with the reopening of the Dark Portal. He now leads the Thunderlord Stronghold. Portal 2 is a 2011 first-person puzzle-platformer developed and published by Valve Corporation. Available on PC, Mac, PS3, and Xbox 360; this is the PC version.
