The series begins 10 years after PhD. Salvador Pereyra returns to Mexico from his journey through the Middle East, after achieving something that could change the world: the discovery of the tomb of Marduk, creator of the concept of God and whose teachings gave rise to all the world’s religions. Pereyra soon realizes that his work has been plagiarized by Askar Hyrum, leader of the cult, “The Sons of Indra.”
As he attempts to publish the book that might win him the Nobel Peace Prize, and to reunite with his family, who he abandoned to make his quest, Salvador discovers that his work has been plagiarized by a group called “The Sons of Indra.” Its leader, Askar Hyrum, has twisted his words to manipulate people who are desperately poor, creating a destructive sect that indoctrinates convicts in prison.
