Antigang

In the 1960s in France, robberies increased, the police were confronted with very professional gangs who left few traces and covered their tracks. A commissioner will then drive a radical change in methods. François Le Mouël suggests identifying potential criminals, following them and intervening as quickly as possible during or after the offense. In 1964, the Research and Intervention Brigade, the BRI, renamed the Antigang by the media, was born.
