Alice, Albert and Arthur are three orphaned siblings happily living with Marianne, the orphanage's director, until Albert and Arthur are adopted by the Milot family, who don't adopt Alice. Running away to find their sister, the two brothers escape their home on Christmas Eve and get lost in the night. With the help of the magic of the mistletoe, Alice goes to the rescue of her brothers, and inadvertantly creates the origin of the tradition of kissing under the mistletoe.
