Nintendo is discontinuing five Wii channels and the data exchange using WiiConnect24, the Wii Shop Channel and entertainment apps like Netflix and Hulu are still safe. Canabalt creator Adam Saltsman shared his opinion on the "empathy problem" in game development, stating we could learn things about expression from titles like Depression Quest and IGF winner Cart Life.
