Man of Steel was a lot of things but I wouldn't say very many people believe it was the Iron Man-esque Cinematic Universe starting success that DC hoped it would be.
And I believe there are bunch of different reasons why it didn't quite work. Story structure. Character development. Strange choices. But one thing is certain. It would take more than one small change to address them all.
So in part two of this series, I’m gonna take a shot at rewriting the first half of the second act. I take a look at why some of the big fights rubbed Superman fans the wrong way and see if a change of tone could make Clark’s character arc a little more clear
