Leningrad (2021)
The series will retrace the siege of Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg). German and Finnish troops surrounded the city two and a half months after the invasion of the Soviet Union at the height of World War II, trapping everyone inside, with no food, no resources and no escape route. Nearly a million civilians died, mostly from hunger.
