The King of Palma

At the beginning of the 1990s, the tourism industry on Playa de Palma experienced an unexpected increase. Party atmosphere and mass tourism on Mallorca transform the Spanish gem into the most popular holiday island for Germans. Right in the middle is the Adler family (with Henning Baum), who left their previous life in Germany behind to open a beer garden on the famous Playa de Palma. The initially small and inconspicuous inn quickly experienced a meteoric rise. To ensure their success, the Adlers have to push more and more boundaries. They soon find themselves in a whirlwind of bribery, extortion and violence from which there is little escape.
