Maybe it’s because their success comes from achievements people feel these women didn’t contribute to. And so when WAGs like Brittany Mahomes lean into the spotlight too much, they’re told to 'know their place.' But is this all a way of demanding that women in the public eye be a little… quieter, and not get too dominant in sports?
