Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2 was a blast and one of its biggest surprises was Kurt Russell's character, Ego the Living Planet. While it's clear that movie Ego is based somewhat on his comic counterpart, that doesn't tell the whole story. In this video, I take a look at five lesser-known Marvel comic characters that in some way influenced the Marvel Cinematic Universe's take on Ego the Living Planet.
