The two child and youth therapists Tom (Carlo Ljubek) and Katinka (Judith Bohle) run a practice together in Berlin. There, with the help of "non-directive play therapy", they take on the mental problems of their young patients in an intensive and dedicated manner. However, the two therapists also have their own problems to contend with: Katinka has to deal with the complicated relationship with her overpowering father (Matthias Habich), who was also a therapist. In addition, Katinka's affair with the married Michael (Christian Erdmann) repeatedly leads to disappointments. Tom, on the other hand, is challenged as a father when his estranged teenage daughter Hanna (Ella Lee) informs him of her decision to move in with him. (Text: GR)
