The second visit is to The Clifton in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, where hospitality experts Scott and Liz Carlucci extend a warm welcome. Sue and Louise are expecting big things, but are quickly disappointed by their room and its view of roadworks. The B&B'ers design ceramic plates to reflect their own businesses, but Gordon and Sharon spend more time trying to wind up their fellow guests. At bedtime Sue discovers her sheets aren't as clean as she'd like and has to sleep on towels.
