Kate and Mike, after several years of marriage, decided to get divorced. However, sharing an office at a newspaper doesn't make the separation any easier. Kate, wanting to get out of this awkward situation, decides to quit and apply for another job at another location. But when Kate's boss pursues the job opening as well, Kate takes her boss's position, enjoying the fact that she is now Mike's boss.
