There are areas in our cities where the rules of civil society do not seem to exist, they struggle to impose themselves. They are gray areas governed by different laws and codes. In these places, realms of narco-mafias and petty crime, the Carabinieri are the only representatives of the rule of law. They are the outposts located between civil society and the extreme margin of social disintegration.
