I think if you can endure 7 seasons of Lorelai Gilmore's incessant hatred of her parents, and her nonstop snide remarks whenever the latter had anything to say at any time or occasion, then you will be able to enjoy the zany relationships that materialize and disappear throughout the show. This series reminded me of "The Andy Griffith Show", with the difference being the characters in Stars Hollow actually have a life of their own that does not revolve around the Gilmores. I could get through the parent scenes at the beginning, but eventually they became so awkward that I couldn't watch them. Season 7 is all about hating the parents and switching partners; in the later episodes this theme just dragged on and on. Many people will like this show because there is an emphasis on establishing and maintaining social traditions - a recurring theme in Gilmore Girls.

One of the best shows to ever air. I started watching when the pilot first aired when I was in elementary school. I grew up with the characters and I was so sad to see it end on the 7th season. I am, however, grateful to own all the seasons so that I could get sucked into Stars Hallow whenever I want to. I have seen every episode a million times and it still never gets old. I was excited in 2016 when the Gilmore Girls "A Year in the Life" revival came out on Netflix, but I feel as though there should be another revival since they left us on a cliffhanger. Everyone is wondering who the father is. I wish I could have been the fly on the wall when Matthew Czuchry (Logan) was told who the father is. He has never told a soul and that's amazing, but I so wish I knew.

I watched this in high school, every week I would always sit down to watch it. Still to this day I continue to enjoy it. However my complaint was always the ending, after spending years considering this my favorite show they ruined the ending IMO. I won't watch the last few episodes but the other seasons I still watch. The actors/actresses are phenomenal, definitely worth the buy
