This is a GAY CLASSIC! Albeit a bit old school in nature, it kind gives off
the " Robin Williams Birdcage meets Wesley Snipes Tu Wong Foo" vibe, but
putting glitter, Sass and Australian Didgeridoo on top. One has to use
imagination as its void of sexually explicit content as most modern gay
films tend to be. This film showcases the joi de vivre of campy drag
queens, doing what they love and not being ashamed about it!

Oh man I LOVE this movie!! I could watch it for hours, it's never boring and Terence Stamp was so elegant as Bernie I believed he was a woman. Absolutely fabulous! š

Priscilla was a coming of age film for me as it was the kind of film we needed in the 90's. It brought out acceptance, understanding, a great actor played a transgender woman and gave us the music we needed to hear...more than a film is quite the educational journey that shows you that to be a good real human you dont have to be like anybody else, just yourself...and to get to that point of acceptance you need a little of fantasy, magic, persistance and to be a real down to earth human being!
