Shrek the Musical

I wanted to give it no stars, I fact you owe me money just for watching it.. alright now that my review is done its time to order this movie

Wonderful sets and costumes don't make up for a mediocre plot and songs from a 70's musical. Who wrote this musical? The jokes were corny.

These reviews are so terrible, the point of reviews is to get a glimpse of what your seeing or not seeing; No one asked you to describe the movie in one word. Anyhow, I'm a musical theatre fan and personally I love this. They didn't change too much from the movie and I really think the musical aspect gives the characters more depth and allows the audience to better understand the characters, especially in Donkey, Fiona, and Shrek and the phenomenal emotion the actors put into their characters. Just like the movie, it's aimed at kids but there is enough adult humor that older kids and adults can enjoy it just as much and maybe even more. It is definitely considered a musical theatre jewel, so if you don't like musicals or theatre, I do not suggest it. Like every other musical, characters will break out into a musical number every five minutes
