I found the film authentic, honest, real, sincere, and very affecting, allowing me to experience, intimately, not just life within a certain family in gruelingly trying transitions, but most centrally life within a young adolescent supported by the most cursory uncertainties and unstable resources of others in determining the grounds for destiny and identity for the indefinite future -- for a lifetime. Beautifully shot and impeccably performed. At times the words are hard to hear, but rather than run English subtitles, I let the ambiguities run over my attention and color it, as I think was intended.
