Muriel falls ill with a mysterious sickness, and Courage must find a cure -- which ultimately only the tree can provide. "Robot Randy" Robot Randy, a failure on his own planet, is sent to Earth to conquer it and prove his merit. He lands at the Farm and takes over, making the Family his slaves. But Randy doesn't really want to conquer any planets, all he wants to do is carve wooden figures. Courage must find a way to help them all.

Courage discovers a glowing blue stone and gives it to Muriel, which renders her invisible. The stone turns out to be top-secret government property, and Muriel is kidnapped in an effort to retrieve the stone. Believing they're after her dog food recipe, she refuses to talk. Courage must find a way to rescue Muriel.

After an arduous journey, they finally arrive at the city and the Farmer manages to steal the golden mask, angering the monks who guard it. The Farmer refuses to return the mask, and the monks demand Muriel as a human sacrifice. Courage must find a way to save her and return the mask.

Courage must become a kangaroo monster himself to try to defeat the Farmer kangaroo monster and save Muriel.

  "The Evil Weevil" The Family nearly runs over a giant weevil with their truck, prompting Muriel to invite the bug to the Farmhouse to recover from his injuries. The Weevil turns out to be a highly refined Oxford graduate, and the perfect guest. But the Farmer begins to look shriveled and is gradually reduced to just his skin. Courage discovers the Weevil has been feeding on the Farmer at night while he sleeps! The Weevil begins moving in on Muriel, and Courage must find a way to stop the bug. "The McPhearson Phantom" A vengeful ghost harasses Muriel by sabotaging everything she does for the Farmer. His laundry makes him break out in a rash, his newly polished shoes explode on his feet, and there are lobsters in his bath. The Farmer grows increasingly suspicious and suspects Muriel of trying to get rid of him. They stop talking to each other, leaving Courage to act as intermediary. Courage discovers it is a ghost causing all the misery. He must find out why and stop the ghost before it breaks his family apart.

  "The House of Discontent" On the eve of the orange Harvest Moon, a traditional ceremony where the best crops are offered in exchange for luck, the Farmer has nothing to give. The House begins terrorizing the Family, threatening that if they cannot grow something by midnight, they must leave. Muriel and Courage immediately begin to grow a plant, but the Farmer's pride makes him sabotage all their efforts. When the deadline passes, the Family finds themselves locked in their own home, with the heat turned up. It is up to Courage to appease the Spirit with an offering and prevent the Farm and the Family from melting. "The Sand Whale Strikes" A giant sand whale arrives at the Farm, demanding the return of his accordion, which the Farmer's father won in a crooked card game years before. The Farmer doesn't want to give it back, it has sentimental value for him. The whale warns that if the accordion isn't returned in 24 hours, he will swallow the Farmer and his family until he does. The Farmer refuses. He and Muriel get swallowed, but Courage manages to get away. Courage must return the accordion and save his family.
