Michael Douglas rarely plays a bad guy but when he does he really rocks it. Him being the antagonist in this mediocre film really makes it worth watching in my opinion. Its not a great film but he gives a great performance he really sells the nihilistic self centered megalomaniac character to the extreme. You really love to hate this guy and love watching him do his evil self-serving cover up. He shines in this one check it out

In all fairness I have to admit that I haven't seen it yet, but I certainly will. Here's the thing, its a remake . "Savages" ABC Movie of the Week - 1974. Staring Andy Griffith, and others. I remember it well , good premise and film. This "reboot" is updated a little. The trailer was good. Ought to be fun. Good to see Micheal Douglas still doing his thing. I grew up watching his Dad " Kirk" Douglas. An amazing man. " We Love You Spartacus !". If you can find a source, watch Savages first , then watch " Beyond The Reach ". Have a great rest of the summer.

Beyond the Reach is a really intense and suspenseful movie. It's about a wealthy businessman who goes on a hunting trip in the desert and ends up stranded with a guide who is determined to kill him. The movie is full of action and suspense, and the desert setting is really cool. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes action movies.
