I knew only of the tip of the iceberg when it came to just how badly the music industry screwed the artists before watching this film. This gave so much more perspective on how corrupt the major record labels have become (I do believe that some of the execs try, but some go about it the wrong way for fear of losing their jobs). I do agree that piracy has attributed to the steep decline of sales, but I believe that something can be done to fix this. It will not be an overnight thing, and it will require the millions of listeners to team up and fight for change while still remembering that artists have given so much of their hearts and lives to create these amazing works of art. I really hate that 30 Seconds To Mars had to even be put through this, but it shined a spotlight on all the things that the music industry needs to really look at and change. It doesn't have to be a sinking ship, but refusal to adapt and evolve with technology and life itself will do just that. Thank you Jared, Shannon, & Tomo for sharing this terrifying, captivating, and difficult journey with us & I pray that change will come if we all come together.

Triumphant documentary about the band 30 Seconds to Mars and their fight to win back their rights from a greedy record production company. Inspiring direction and unique filming style by Jared Leto himself. Many great scenes with fellow band members Tomo Milicevic and Shannon Leto during the production of their album This is War. A must-see for Echelon.

I love jared leto and 30 seconds to mars so I knew i'd love this film but I never knew just how inspired it could be. The way it opens your eyes to the corruptness of the music business and the effort 30 seconds to mars put in and how driven jared and the band are gave me a new respect for all bands everywhere. I would recommend this to everyone I meet it's so inspiring.
