About this movie

You'll scream with laughter at this hilarious spoof of Hollywood's hottest horror movies. When a young family, who can't seem to stop filming themselves, moves into a house that turns out to be haunted, they meet up with a host of creepy characters including a horny vampire-hunting president who wants to emancipate their dragon-tattooed daughter. With help from the hysterically high-energy "Ghost Brothers" the family sets out to solve the mystery of the haunted house.

I'll be honest, it wasn't good. I like spoof movies, but they have either A. Quite a bit of actual humor or B. Gratuitous nudity to cover the lack of humor. I feel like even if it were a spoof, they threw so many different scenes with different references too so many movies that the entire thing took on a patchwork quilt of somewhat funny. In fact, the movie cover can detail each scene for you. What you see on the cover, that's what actually happens in the movie...and that's about it.

I am a big fan of spoof movies and this is up there with all the rest. If you like spoofs, then you will like this. My favorite scene is when the girl with the dragon tattoo is rufieing Abraham Lincoln. "You want to go to the south." Ha!

Can't remember what made me think I would enjoy this. Maybe if I was 12 and had a new arm muscle. One of the worst movies I have ever seen. They should have just filmed the director talking for an hour... that would have been funnier, maybe.
