Heaven and Hell: Soul Exchange

Detective Ayako Mochizuki gets the chance to investigate a murder on her own but as she is arresting the prime suspect their souls switch bodies.

Now helplessly in the body of suspected serial killer Haruto Hidaka, Ayako must decide whether to turn herself in or help him clear his name.

Ayako’s colleague Hideo realizes that her soul has been switched with Haruto’s and tries to help stop him while Ayako pursues a lead to regain her body.

Another murder is committed and Ayako fears it was by Haruto in her body. Hideo is afraid to act as rival detective Mitsuo finds a witness to the crime.

Ayako wonders if Haruto is covering for someone and isn't the real murderer. Details about Haruto and the crimes are mysteriously leaked on social media.

Ayako investigates Haruto’s past. Hideo is approached by a man who wants a plea bargain in exchange for information about the timing of the murders.

Haruto searches the morgue for a man named Sakuya Azuma. Haruto’s father reveals something about Haruto’s past, as the body of a new victim is found.

Ayako now suspects Haruto’s estranged brother is connected to the murders, just as Mitsuo makes a discovery regarding Haruto and Sakuya's relationship.

Both Ayako’s and Haruto’s souls are in limbo after a serious fall. The police close in on determining the prime suspects in the case.

Mitsuo interrogates Haruto in police custody. Unable to help Haruto, Ayako must act on her own to reveal the truth and bring justice to the victims.
