OMG, the best film version of one of my favorite novels. (Olivier was amazing, but Merle Oberon not so much, in the 1939 flick.) Fiennes and Binoche a great match, plus a beautifully haunting musical score. And the entire novel was covered in this interpretation, not just the first part w/ Cathy & Heathcliff.

Fyi- this is a tame version of this sadistic love story. They left out the sadism and viciousness!

My favorite version. It covers the entire novel and has the best actors playing the parts. I have to confess I have seen this a dozen times and never tire of it.
