All I got to say is the version I saw had no subtitles and not knowing what is being said in spanish made it even more long and painful to watch. Forty minutes in and I still didn't even gotten a clue what was happening. What makes it more confusing is the two stories being told, first with a girl (that's constantly being shown in some yellowish gold tint filter) who somehow sees weird visions of some sort and the other of a detective investegating the murder of his partner (which that one is always being shown in a reality blue tint filter) which both keeps switching back and forth for no apparent reason. An hour and twenty minutes or should I say a long hour and twenty minutes and still nothing connecting either story together. If you watch watch with subtitles and be patient because this movie is slow pace. Would not recommend.

The movie doesn't make any sense until the last two or three minutes in the end. The story didn't seem well developed and Keanu Reeves acting was just blah as usual. Definitely one of my least favorite movies. Do not recommend.

Not what I expected. I expected one of the typical thugs to have done something sinister, but the ending was more sinister than that. The unseen victim's views, unexpected rapist(s) and murder. Unsure of the angels' portrayal, but they're creepy like the movie. How the victims hide the memories of wrong-doing is caught well here. Hats off to Keanu's production and hats off to Big Daddy Kane's roll. I caught myself yelling "No! Don't! *@#$^!" at the characters. Believable, dark and symbolic the entire way through.
