Well, since I can't be creative enough to write a plot that differs from all dance movies...i can't complain. Granted most movies in all categories have very similar plots, Christina, I must add that you should appreciate the fact that the dance moves get better each time. Now, I will say that I was very impressed with the way Skyler moved. Every hit, tuck , wave and pow was on point! And I am not a big twerk fan but I recognize a twerkinista when I see it. Too bad cheerleaders in this generation dance like strippers, lol! SMH.

The plot has been done many times in dance flicks over the past few years. A dancer is struggling. The dancer is part of one faction rivaling another in an upcoming competition. Blah blah blah. Usually, you can pinch your nose and wait for some incredible dance sequence to make up for the wooden acting and terrible dialogue. I admit the leads have some chemistry, but the dialogue just is not there, and the dance sequences rely too much on twerking to make up for it.
