I am so impressed with these real life people playing part fictional characters of themselves. I heard about this movie on KQED today and watched it tonight. What a beautiful movie; visually, the characters and the story. It is a really good movie about men and their relationships. I loved the sister and brother relationship too. This movie has depth of feeling and emotion. Even the alcoholic Dad was not a total jerk. He was who he was and he loved his kids. Beautiful story. Really beautiful. I heard the director is a Chinese born woman living in America which impressed me even more as its such a cowboy movie but with a giant heart. I thought of her when the scenery was so beautiful. She's an amazing artist.

I loved this fictionalized true story of a young man working through a huge life crisis. It was all the richer because the actors were the actual people who lived the story. I felt like I had a glimpse into cowboy thinking and way of life and it was fascinating. The scenic shots were breathtaking and made me love the west even more.

Here is a rare look into the lives of modern cowboys and their families. A
well made movie that should not be over looked. The story, the acting, and
cinematography are all excellent. Rent it and watch carefully as the drama
unfolds before your eyes.
