The Rewrite

What's so wrong about a good story. There are good stories about good people in real life, so what's wrong with seeing the same in a movie? So, it's simple! So what? It was kind and thoughtful and sweet and easy. It didn't pretend to be anything else than what it was. It did lack some things, like depravity and lewdness, drunkenness and debauchery. So, I can live without those and maybe you can too.

Light and deep at the same time. Hugh Grant's performance is outstanding. I love that one scene when he expresses so many different emotions without even saying a word.

It tries to hard at being different from the typical Hollywood movie, but the characters and scenes are flat and dumb.
