If classics are still being made the way they were made in the 80s (Back to the Future, The Goonies, E.T., etc...) this should sit right up there with them. Full of adventure, action, and kids with suspiciously intelligent dialogue, Super 8 highlights J.J. Abrams' love of the popcorn flick, the magic of the movies, and the coming of age story. It's basically a love letter to an early Steven Spielberg and his lasting impact on the language of film.

I say 6/10 because I will never believe an ali3n that is psychic gets mad and kills these people it has connections to , also that it had the power to bring all that metal stuff t8gather to make it's ship why didn't it just suck the wrecked train parts together and do it then, I mean, all his building blocks were in the train...

Nice slow boring movie to put you to sleep. JarJar Abrams does it again, this time it's a modern day 'homage' (hehe, Hollywood spin term) to Spielberg's E.T. I suppose it could have been worse, but you'd have to stay awake long enough to find out. Good luck.
