Overall: I wouldn't watch it again; it had none of the gravitas of its source material and felt like a flat action movie. And, even as an action move, it was less dimensional than Justice League: War. In War, characters overcame differences and worked together, both in and out of combat. I was pleased when they teased the lack of a coherent team, which fits with the mood began in War but that story line never develops. The dialogue treats the audience as if we are incapable of understanding subtext, as evident through Manta's monologue about inciting war in the first place. Things I liked: Hungover Aquaman, "Outrageous", Flash and Green Lantern's relationship

If you're a hardcore new 52 fan and loved the throne of atlantis storyline and hate change, than this is not the movie for you. The film is great the comics were waaayyy better!! I wish they couldve followed the story more but what can you do but complain. If you have a chance to check it out buy it cheap not $20 or why not just buy the comics! i believe its Aquaman #12-17 same for Justice League enjoy.

The setup and build up in this movie is actually pretty good. Too bad it falls apart close to the end: Shazam becomes annoying rather quickly, Manta starts the perennial villain "let me reveal my plan" monologue mid-battle, pointless destruction by the heroes not just co-lateral damage. It just feels as if they got rushed to complete the script for the last act.
