Loose Cannons

When Tommaso (Riccardo Scamarcio) makes a trip back home to Southern Italy, he plans to announce his new aspirations to write, rather than take over the family’s pasta-making business, and tell his family that he’s gay. Events don’t quite go as planned when his older brother, Antonio (Alessandro Preziosi), beats him to the punch, and – literally – gives his father a heart attack! Now, Tommaso is left with a distraught family and a business to run, and stuck playing the dutiful son until the unexpected arrival of his boyfriend and their gay friends threatens to upend everything, and could force him to make a choice between family and true happiness.
