About this movie

Arriving at her new college, Beca (Anna Kendrick) finds herself not right for any clique but somehow is muscled into one that she never would have picked on her own: alongside mean girls, sweet girls and weird girls whose only thing in common is how good they sound when they sing together. When Beca leads this a cappella singing group out of their traditional arrangements and perfect harmonies into all-new mash-ups, they fight to climb their way to the top of college music competitions.

Google, your app store let me buy this but won't let me play it. Please fix and monitor your apps for failure to load. Tried Chrome, IE, 2 different computers. Works from the family Roku, does not work from a browser. Maddening, because I have an Intel NUC hooked up via HDMI for my big screen as my media center. Tried my personal laptop, my NUC, and multiple browsers. Google, this is your problem. Fix it.

They have a logical song list for the story-line so no complains there unlike other people who claim "their sing sucks". Interesting story but get dull easily especially knowing seems to popular movie entertainment presently (2019). This was a great movie at it's time that reached target market so good job.

Honestly, I loved this movie drunk. It's classic "girl who is soooo not mainstream but ends up having fun in mainstream" esque. Lame pop covers of the time but decent renditions. Overall, this movie is one of the ones you can go to when you're in between watching dumb animated movies with the kids to watching something that be would fun for kids and mildly interesting to you. You seriously grow tired of hearing "Titanium" by the end though.
