Un vent de magie souffle
Londres, années 1930, durant la grande dépression. Devenu adulte, Michael Banks travaille à la banque où son père était employé et vit toujours au 17, allée des Cerisiers avec ses trois enfants - Annabel, Georgie et John - et leur gouvernante Ellen. Comme sa mère avant elle, Jane Banks se bat pour les droits des ouvriers et apporte son aide à la famille de Michael. Lorsque cette dernière subit une perte tragique, Mary Poppins réapparaît magiquement dans leur vie. Avec l’aide de son ami Jack - l’allumeur de réverbères toujours optimiste -, elle va tout faire pour que la joie et l’émerveillement reviennent dans leur existence. Elle leur fera aussi découvrir de nouveaux personnages pleins de fantaisie, dont sa cousine, l’excentrique Topsy.

Je m’attendais à être déçu et il s’avère que c’est l’inverse ! Certes il ne détrônera jamais le premier mais cette suite et plutôt réussie
Déçue, je n’ai pas du tout accroché peut-être parce que je suis trop attachée au 1er que j’ai adoré enfant. Cela reste un bon divertissement.
En fait je crois que je n’aime plus trop les comédies musicales. A voir avec ses enfants je crois que c’est ce qu’il y a de mieux ! C’est ce que j’ai fait.
j'ai beaucoup aimé y'as énormément de références au premier et les numéros musicaux aussi m'ont fait pensé au premier ils ont réussie a moderniser le film tout en lui laissant son esprit magique et féerique une jolie réussite

Je pensais que ce nouvel opus n'arriverait jamais à la cheville du premier et qu'Emily Blunt ne pourrait égaler Julie Andrews, eh bien raté ! Alors, certes, il n'y a pas de chanson phare comme dans le premier telle que "un morceau de sucre", "Chem cheminée" ou bien encore "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" mais une multitude ! On retrouve des similitudes entre l'opus 1 et le 2, comme la danse des ramoneurs sur le toit VS le ballet des allumeurs de réverbères. Mais le style, les décors, la magie des personnages font oublier celà. On se laisse porter par l'histoire, le style très comédie musicale et les tours de magie de Mary Poppins. J'ai adoré le passage où les enfants sont dans le bol, les animations des dessins étaient splendides. C'est envoûtant et on passe un agréable moment avec des acteurs fantastiques ! Mention spéciale à Meryl Streep, qui joue la cousine un brin délurée de Marry Poppins.
Une pale copie de l'original. Même les chansons et musiques sont affligeantes. Mais avouons qu'on s'en doutais quand même énormément. Une étoile pour le courage qu'il a fallut pour le réaliser. Passez votre chemin, évitez vous ça...
Déprimante copie scène par scène de l'original. On met un autre skin sur le squelette c'est tout.
Film pas mauvais en soit mais juste une pâle copie de l'original, les même lieux même thème et même presque même chanson et chorégraphie. On pré ds les mêmes une génération plus tard et on recommence. Dommage

J'adore Emilie Blunt et elle a très bien joué son rôle, mais j'ai été très déçue par ce film, il est beaucoup beaucoup trop long et il n'y aucune magie. Personnellement, ce film ne m'a pas vendu du rêve contrairement au film d'origine

Un magnifique film qui transporte et change les idées avec juste ce qu'il faut de magie pour que l'on sache que c'est un super moment à passer 😉
je l'ai vu la semaine dernière à Madrid avec ma mère et ma soeur et franchement j'ai bien aimé, il ne surpasse pas le 1er et la prestation magnifique de Julie Andrews mais il n'est pas si mal
Le retour de trop : Mary Poppins s'est crashée alors qu'elle aurait dû profiter de sa retraite bien méritée dès la fin du premier film...
Bof bof! Il n’arrive pas à la cheville de l’original! Quelques chansons étaient bonnes et j’ai apprécié Mary, Jack, Jane et Ellen. Le jeu des autres acteurs n’était vraiment pas fameux (à part certains personnages secondaires) et certains grands acteurs comme Meryl Strip n’étaient pas à leur meilleur. Contrairement à l’original, le film se déroule sur plusieurs jours ce qui aurait pu aller mais cela l’a rendu longuet. Aussi, l’original était plus subtil en laissant sous-entendre que ce n’était pas les enfants qui étaient à sauver mais le père. Ici, tout est beaucoup plus noir et blanc, les gentils sont gentils et les méchants sont méchants. En conclusion, j’ai été assez déçue par ce film mais en lui-même il n’était pas horrible.
Mary Poppins est un des films de mon enfance qui a une place toute spéciale dans mon cœur. J'ai été émerveillée et transportée par l'univers et cela reste un de ces souvenirs d'enfance magique, un peu hors temps et sûrement fortement exagéré. Alors évidemment "le retour de Mary Poppins" n'est clairement pas à la hauteur de cette madeleine de Proust, l'histoire est certes fantasque mais ne m'a pas fasciné pour autant. Je n'ai pas non plus accroché avec l'univers musical de cette suite et désolé de faire encore le parallèle avec le premier opus mais je ne pense pas qu'une de ces chansons deviendra un jour aussi culte que celles du film original. Par contre j'ai beaucoup apprécié les chorégraphies des scènes musicales surtout celle de de la chanson des allumeurs de réverbères. Aussi l'univers Londonien de cette époque est toujours aussi merveilleux. Emilie Blunt quant à elle fait une Mary Poppins trop "pète-sec" à mon goût mais son interprétation reste quand même admirable car il était quasi impossible de succéder brillamment à Julie Andrew. J'ai été un peu déçue aussi par l'écriture du personnage de Michael effectivement je trouve dommage que l'aventure avec "Mary Poppins" n'est pour lui que rêve et imaginaire d'enfance et qu'il finit par retranscrire les mêmes erreurs que son père. Jane par contre s'en sort plutôt bien son personnage m'a fait souvent sourire et nous rappelle la petite fille écrit dans le premier film, il faut dire qu'Emily Mortimer rayonne dans ce rôle. Pour conclure Mary Poppins est un joli film pleins de fantaisies mais malheureusement je ne pouvais pas être totalement impartiale dans ma façon de regarder et je n'ai pas accroché.
