When a murder occurs in the vicinity of her Duisburg pub, the "Ruhrpott-Flamingo", the resolute landlady Cornelia "Conny" Majewski (Caroline Peters) quickly takes the case into her own hands. She infiltrates the police service as a career changer, which doesn't sit well with the gruff department head Oliver Dierks (Serkan Kaya).
