Chyornoe solntse

Captain Evgeniy Chagin and his partner arrive at a crime scene: a farmer shot three burglars in the night. The farmer turns out to be Chagin's old classmate. He tells the police he needed time to get to his gun, so while he shot two burglars in the house, the third one was killed at the gate. Chagin realizes the farmer could be charged with excessive force, and they get the third body inside the house just in time before the investigative team arrives. The team is headed by Igor Zhuk. He is a new man in town and not much is known about him.
