Man of Steel was a lot of things but I wouldn't say very many people believe it was the Iron Man-esque Cinematic Universe starting success that DC hoped it would be.
And I believe there are bunch of different reasons why it didn't quite work. Story structure. Character development. Strange choices. But one thing is certain. It would take more than one small change to address them all.
So in part three we're taking a look at one aspect of Man of Steel that felt particularly underwhelming: Clark's suit. I look at whether more patient pacing could have not only given the Superman suit more meaning but helped to more clearly define Clark's character arc.
